The basics
- Each player has four tokens in their yard. Roll a 6 to bring a token out onto your start square.
- Roll everything first: a 6 lets you roll again. Your numbers collect in the dice tray (for example 6 · 6 · 2), then you use them one by one, in any order.
- Three 6s in a row waste the whole turn.
- Each number moves one token the whole distance. Reaching home needs the exact number.
- Getting a token home gives you an extra roll. A kill does not.
- The 8 stops (start squares and stars) are safe: nobody can be killed there.
The four games
| Game | How to win | Players |
|---|---|---|
| Quick | First token home wins. | 2 or 4 |
| Grand | All four tokens home. With 4 players, the game goes on for 2nd and 3rd place. | 2 or 4 |
| Team Up | Two against two; partners sit opposite. Quick: both partners get one token home. Grand: all eight tokens home. | 4 |
| Blitz | Most points when the 5-minute clock stops (see Blitz scoring). | 2 or 4 |
Friends' tables (nearby or private online tables) can also be played with 3 players.
Friendly, Pro and Master rules
| Rule | Friendly | Pro | Master |
|---|---|---|---|
| Duos (two of your tokens together block the way) | Off | On | On |
| Must-kill (with a penalty) | Off | On | On |
| Use all your numbers or all are wasted | Off | On | On |
| A kill is needed before entering home | Off | Off | On |
Choose your rules in Settings. Online, you're matched with players using the same rules.
Duos (Pro and Master)
- Two of your tokens on the same square (not a stop) make a duo.
- A duo moves only with an even number, split equally: a 6 moves both 3 squares, a 4 moves both 2.
- Opponents can't pass your duo. They can land exactly on it ("sit"), which doesn't kill it.
- Only a duo can kill a duo. A duo that lands on a single opponent token kills it.
Kills and must-kill
- Land exactly on an opponent's token (not on a stop) to send it back to its yard. The token that kills can't move again that turn.
- Pro and Master: if a kill is possible, you must make it. If you don't, one of your tokens that could have killed is sent home as a penalty.
- Master: each player needs one kill before their tokens can enter the home lane.
Team Up
- Partners never kill each other.
- When both partners have tokens in play, you can use your numbers on any of your team's 8 tokens.
- If you finish first, you roll on your turns until a 6 brings you back to help your partner.
- Online, choose a random partner or invite a friend. If a partner leaves the game, their team loses.
Blitz scoring
| You… | Points |
|---|---|
| move one square | +1 per square |
| kill a token | +20 |
| get a token home | +50 |
| lose a token to a kill | you lose the points that token had travelled |
The player (or team) with the most points when the clock stops wins. If someone gets all four tokens home first, the game ends right away. Ties go to more tokens home, then to more progress on the board.
Timers and AUTO
- You have 8 seconds to roll and 15 seconds to move. The ring around your picture shows the time left.
- If time runs out, AUTO plays for you. Tap Tap to play to take back control.
- If only one move is possible, it's made for you.
- If you lose connection, AUTO plays while you're away. Open the app again to go straight back to your game.
Coins, gems and stakes
- Coins are earned by playing: daily rewards, missions, achievements, level-ups and wins. Every online game has a coin stake; the winners share the pot.
- Gems are rarer: level-ups, weekly prizes, or the shop. They're used for special items and re-rolls.
- Re-roll (online only): for a few gems you can re-roll your last number, up to 5 times a game. Only you see your number during those 3 seconds.
- Out of coins? Watch a short video for free coins, claim your daily reward, or play the computer.
- Coins and gems are virtual items for use in the game only. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money.
Playing with friends
- Nearby, no internet: Play with Friends → Nearby. One phone hosts; the others join the same Wi-Fi or the host's hotspot, then join the table by its number.

- Add friends by player code, from recent games, or during a game: tap a player's picture → Add friend.
- Send coins to friends from the Friends list (daily limits apply).
